This notice explains how Summit Financial Education, the education division of Summit Debt Solutions, handles personal information collected through this website. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
When you submit the contact form we collect your name, email address, the stage you select, and whatever you write in your message. We do not request financial account numbers, Social Insurance Numbers, or credit report data through this website, and you should not send them to us by email.
The money quiz runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are not transmitted to us or stored anywhere.
Our host records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, which is used to keep the site running and secure.
Why we collect it
To answer your question, to provide a course you've asked about, and to keep the site working. We do not sell personal information, and we share it only with service providers who help us operate the site and respond to you.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to respond and to meet our record-keeping obligations, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@summitfinancialeducation.com and we'll respond within thirty days.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. If analytics are added later, this notice will be updated first.
Changes
If this notice changes, the revised version is posted here with a new date.
